| Mr. Yudhi's Testimony |
Our first lesson was about introducing ourselves but that time we did it differently. We sang a song, we prayed, then I explained the theory first. Then we played a game. In the game, all of us should write 3 things related to our life like hobby, physical characteristics, and shoe size. Next, they swapped the information After that, I reviewed about "yes no questions". Then the game began. Here the participants asked yes/no questions to the person they guess but they could not answer the questions with "yes" and "no". They had to explain. It was a fun game.
At the end of our meeting, Mr. Yudhi gave his opinion about the club. He came again the next week but this time there were more than 25 people coming to the club. He was involved as a group facilitator in some meetings as I knew he had quite a good grammar knowledge. In this club, he actively asked me about grammar and other difficulties related to English that he found in his office as he had to face foreign customers in his department and write letters to them.
Then, in March, he joined my first trial class, General English for Workers together with Ms. Vero, Mr. Vikri, Ms. Mega, and Ms. Leliana. After the trial class, he decided to join the regular class in April, but this time the form was not a General English class, but a public speaking class as it has been my heart desire to teach English in different ways. He joined the Public Speaking in English class together with Mr. Vikri. After 3 months joining, in June he decided to stop studying.
Don't be wrong. Behind his baby face, he has already got married. His hobby is teasing. He made my class cheerier and merrier. He likes learning in group as he is a social learner, interpersonal intelligent. He likes interpreting and translating after I opened up his mind.
Though he is not my student anymore, I am happy to have him as my student.
